SALES ENGINEER
Department: Flow Technologies
Work Location: Slipi-Jakarta, Indonesia
JOB SUMMARY
This incumbent will be responsible for the Indonesia market to sustain and develop the sales of a wide range of technical pumping products. The role will require the incumbent to maintain and grow the existing customer database that has been developed through the years. Key responsibilities will also entail product demonstrations, training and presentations of pumping equipment solutions,representing the company and interfacing with clients during the entire business sales process. Thecandidate will also gain exposure in working with diverse cultures and being able to correspond withdifferent factories based all around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the budgeted sales and growth margins assigned
- Reinforce relationships with our sales channels, provide support activities to maintain long term relationships with our clients and end users
- Manage key accounts; Distributors, Engineering contractors, Consulting Engineers and end users
- Partner the Management team to develop and implement sales strategies
- Capture all future business prospects, develop and grow the existing customer base
- Visit clients and do presentations / technical training
- Prepare sales-related reports
- Ensure effective communication / coordination among various organizational disciplines
- Be involved in continuous improvement and compliance programmes
- The scope of responsibilities may be altered from time to time and as required by the company
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferably in the Pumping Industry – Industrial / Commercial
- Customer-service oriented with strong initiative and team player
- Good communication, selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia & English in both written and verbal
- High energy level and a passion for excellence, ability to achieve company growth goals and objectives with positive attitude
- Ability to work well in an international matrix organization with multicultural divisions
- Ability to travel as required by the company
