Golder Associates is seeking a mid-level Civil Design/Water Resources Engineer to join our Jakarta operations. Civil design, with a focus on detailed design for water resources infrastructure. We are looking for a Civil Design Engineer with a water background or a Water Resources Engineer with a design background for our Jakarta Civil Design Team (CDG). The Jakarta office services a rapidly growing region of Asia.

This job is a great opportunity, to be given more responsibility, as well as gaining experience and exposure in other areas of Civil Design. The work is mostly focused on design of civil infrastructure for Mining Project in Indonesia and overseas.

 

CIVIL DESIGN/WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER

The Work Will Involve:

• Involve in the design on numerous civil structures such hydraulic structures (i.e. drainage system, ponds, etc.), dams and haul roads


• Possibility to become Project Manager on a wide range of civil design projects, working closely with other groups in the office


• Involved in the delivery of local and global large projects such as feasibility and detailed design studies for mining project


• Completing reports, analysis and other deliverables for clients


• Reviewing documents relevant to your level


• Generating drawings, BoQ’s and Specifications for construction


• Possibly to develop leadership skills for the right applicant.

Job Requirements :

We expect successful candidates to have:

• A Bachelor Degree in a related field Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering


• A Masters Degree is preferable, but not required


• A minimum of 3 – 5 year experience as a Design Engineer or Water Resources Engineer


• Team player involves on local and overseas projects


• Fluent in English (writing and speaking).


• Experience in the design of steel reinforcement would be a plus.
